9 days after my op and feeling better. now to the breast ca. the oncology nurse rang me today to say that they decided not to do a mastectomy after all, that they werent gonna do any further biopsies either and that they wanna see me on weds to explain fully what they intend to do and that is just to operate, to operate without biopsies. hmmmmmmmmmm. not sure if thats a good idea. they say they dont wanna do a mastectomy in case a lot of the stuff is benign, but without biopsies how do they know if its benign? so once again, i'm totally bewildered. oh yeah, one more thing. they have changed my consultant. i'm gonna see someone else on wed. i said i wanna stay with the onc guy i have, but they said that i have to see a different one cos he was the one that made the decisions to do what they're gonna do now. dont like that either. i've got used to the other one and have a rappor with him. i dont wanna chop and change, especially without being given the choice. its not on!anyway, venting outa the way. today, i feel much better than i have for ages. i've had lotsa energy, something thats been unheard of for yonks in my life. lol and i got lots done. not much brain fog today either. brains actually been working for more than 5 mins at a time. lolhope you all have a really good week. i'm here for you. stay positive and keep smiling my friends.love ya

Hi there... I don\'t blame you for venting about the doc thing !! I would hate to be told I HAD to see this guy...can\'t he just give the doc you want the info and let you see who YOU want to see??? I\'m going to send up some prayers for you my friend....hugs Janet

hey there, thanx for the words of support.. there scanning my neck (maybe head and neck, im not sure!) since my thyroid was took ive had feelings if pressure and numbness in my neck. they think its just scar tissue, but i got myself so anxious and panicked about it there doing the scan anyway!glad your feeling much better, now you just need to get the breast ca sorted and the road to recovery will be nearer! thinking of you and sending love my friend xx

o.m.g can not believe the swapping about that they do. do they not undertand how hard it is already. do u not think that they treat us like cattle???? how are you today ?? do not get how the can tell if they dont do biops either can u not get 2nd oppinion.hope all goes wellxxxx
