today's a new day and a new beginning. abdo is quite uncomfortable today, but hopefully will get better when laxatives work. today is one day nearer to my final results. tomorrow, i will know if i have cancer of the thyroid and or what they're gonna do about the large lumps in it. in the knowledge that 90% of thyroid tumours are benign, i am presuming they are benign, but that because one of them has grown half the size again in 6 weeks, they say they will probably need to remove them. that will be one prob out the way. they are expecting to act on breast cancer in november. because it is not such a big prob at the moment it has taken a back seat until the liver has been properly investigated. there's the major prob. i dont want cirrhosis, i dont want varices, i dont want the pain, naucea, fatigue, brain fog or constipation and i dont want hcv. BUT i have it all. now they're looking for cancer in the liver! they tell me that the thyroid, breast and liver is not connected, but the british liver trust tells me that the thyroid can be affected by hcv. i guess all will be revealed on 1 oct when i see the gastro for results. then, i will be able to get to the bottom of what's happening to my body. until, then, it is still a waiting game and i dont like waiting. lol i wanna know what genotype i am, i wanna know if i have liver cancer and i wanna know what can be done about it all. then i will purse a stiff upper lip and go into battle. i will overcome this. i have a positive attitude and i am a very strong person. god only dishes out so much, and it is only an amount that each of us can deal with, no more than that. i know i have a battle ahead of me, but c'est la vie. we all have a battle and together, we will succeed:) i believe that it is so important to stay positive. no-hopers end up with no hope, but where there's life, there's hope and even if there's only one chance, that chance is our. stay in there guys and lets beat this thing together:)good luck all
