Ok, now that I have come to terms with my HIV about over two months ago I started itching and it got really bad to the point I was scratching my self all day long all over my body. I have been to the doc so many times that every thing he had put me on did not help with the itching. So, my doc had me go see a dermatologist and he took a sample of my skin he scraped my skin and “no” I did not have scabies or shingles. The dermatologist gave me a shot in the ass I believe it was a steroid and put me on a med at bed time so that I don’t itch at night so I can sleep, I also have a cream that I use and that doe nothing.. Well, I got the results back and he said it could be eczema or a allergy reaction to a med. Well, the only med I take is my HIV med. I will tell you it sure does not look like eczema and my HIV doc said I don’t believe it your med. I am having these bumps on my body they itch, itch and itch. So now I go three times a week for a phototherapy and I don’t see it helping at this point yet. Also, if I was a little self conscious about my body I sure am now with the itchy scores I have.

Obviously, I can\'t diagnose your skin problem but just a though: I developed psoriasis about 2 years after my diagnosis.
My doc is treating me for psorasis, but not really sure what it is. I have these bumbs and they itch I also itch where there is nothing to itch.
