Good afternoon,
I had another good night sleep, and slept until about 10am, I needed it I feel good at that point.
Let me tell you I have always believed in god my hold life and I do understand things happen for a reason. I will explain why I more believe in the lord.
When I found out that I had HIV, I did right in one of my past journals that I had asked my brother to ask dad to barrow $2,000.00 so I could pay rent and other bills until I got back to work. Yes, I would have paid him back. Of course my dad said no.
I thought ok the only thing I could live on was my credit cards. This is where the lord has been with me.
Now let me go back a few years
When I was a nursing asst. I had an injury from work, I new at that time that I could no long be a nursing assistant any more, so I went online and check out some online schools for Medical recorder coder. Well I found this school took out some loan, then I quite school maybe 9 months later, because I new it was not for me.
That is when I became to the job Im at now, my work had put me through school. I was supposed to take my certification test back in October when I became sick, so now I have to take it at the end of March. Please wish me luck; I know the lord will be there with me.
Well, with all the student loans, I had to pay them back. I have been paying monthly I never had a problem with paying bills.
One day I went to my mail box about a week after my brother had asked my dad. Guess what was in there, a check from the on line collage It was a check for $2,200. 00. This was a refund to me and I owed them nothing more. You have no idea how happy I was. I also said to myself and my daughter I wish the other student loans would go away. They never did until today. I still paid them.
Well, guess what, last Friday I received this letter in the mail from the other student loans and it said the online school had gave them a refund for me for the total amount of what I barrowed.
So I called them today to find out what is going on they said I will be getting a refund from them on what I had paid into my loan, because the online school paid it. I then asked them do I owe anything else or am I done, they said Im done with them. I also asked can I then shred my payment book, they told me go ahead. I started to cry, it was happy cries.
Now if anyone is having doubt in believing in the lord, after this story, you must believe, I surly do more then ever.
So now, Im have a great day.
Love Mary

I totally believe in a higher power or some divine intervention because I\'ve seen the fruits of it over the years. That\'s why I look at my getting this disease as a blessing. It has opened my eyes after being in a drug & alcohol stupor for 6 years and now I\'m finally righting the wrongs and trying to do the right thing. I was never a bad person before, but I was just going through the motions. Anyway, I\'m happy for your good fortune, Mary. Enjoy the rest of your day!
i am so happy for u ,things are looking up(huh).its time something good comes ur way!!keep on smiling and be happy!!!!!!
Wow, Mary, that is amazing and I totally believe it. Da Lord is Da Lord, amen, Sister!
I had to live off of my credit cards a few years back because I had mercury poisoning and my shit-for-insurance wouldn\'t cover it because traditional medicine had no diagnostic tools unless you died and wouldn\'t cover holistic medicine, which diagnosed and cured me. Among other things, I spent $5,000 to have all of my fillings removed and replaced. My only daughter was getting married and I had no family to help including her father who never paid child support so I borrowed for that (Oh, Lord, she had the most beautiful wedding ever; I will never regret it); during that same time, someone was committing identity theft on my account (the one I never balanced) to the tune of $5,000; I had to close the account, which bumped my student loan payment off of auto pay; I did the best I could, but eventually went belly up on the credit cards and defaulted on the student loan, ruined my credit and can\'t buy a house, so I am soooo happpy for you, sucks for me though, but I\'ve had many other blessings and this is my cross to bear. I know God is using my situation to teach me how to handle money.
I love those moments when you feel the hand of God brush across your cheek and tell you that S/He is there and cares about you. I\'ve had many such moments and others when I feel like I\'m getting smacked across the face (I think that\'s just Satan, though).
Thank you for sharing your story and I\'m going to start praying for some divine intervention and/or redemption for my finances too.
I don\'t mean to make excuses for myself, but thinking about $ seems like a luxury when you live with a fear so deep and pervasive you just feel like you are going to cease to exist at any moment. I\'m getting used to it now, but as I gradually became conscious that I am indeed alive, as opposed to living in a fantasy world, I would wake up every day and fly out bed ripping with anxiety, drowning in fear, happy to be alive but shocked to realize that I still was alive, then fearful again because surely death would be imminent so I would run and run, busy, busy, busy until I collapsed each nite from exhaustion.
Now, I wake up and go \"Holy Crap, I\'m still here; I\'m not dead after all.\" Then, whenever I hear that someone had died or is going to I get survivor\'s guilt. I always know that\'s what should have happened to me but it didn\'t; how come it happened to them and not me?\" My parents handed my a death script but I keep cheating it somehow; I\'m constantly trying to exchange that death script for a \"happily ever after\" script; all these terrible things happen, but I never seem to die but that damn death script is always staring me down, telling me it\'s just a matter of time before it gets me, robbing me of the moment with a future threat that quite frankly is inevitable for us all, regardless of parents or anything else....
Anyway, I digress very badly; you are doing great and I\'m so glad that you could see God\'s hand in your recent good fortune. God really does love us and is \"for\" us. He just knows things that we don\'t and it\'s a matter of faith, hope and love; what else do we have?
Play this good day over and over so that no matter what goes wrong you still can have another good day. I think I\'ll remember picking out a wedding dresss at 50, a romantic, ivory, dropped waist with all the little buttons running down to your crack and a big rustle of stiff satin and a scoop neck just to the edge of shoulder with long sleeves for $50.00. Do you know how hard it is to find a long sleeved wedding dress these days? They\'re all strapless!
Until tomoorrow!
