27.5 weeks
I can't believe I'm already entering my 3rd trimester. I really didn't think I'd last this long...I was so prepared for heart break. God is good and God is faithful...in my faithlessness...in my doubt...and in my shortcomings. God still reigns.
So, we've taken some serious steps in getting the room ready. It is painted...the ceiling fan is up...the crib is put together...the changing table is put together.... over 1800 diapers have been purchased. It's getting so exciting! I have these super cute wall decals to put up, but the website suggests waiting 2 weeks after painting to do that. I can't wait!
I've had my first growth scan for my gestational diabetes. A week ago (26.5 w), Grace was 2.7 lbs and in the 80th percentile. She looked fabulous! My OB was so happy--she said I was doing phenomenal--that made my day! My blood pressure is good, my weight gain is great, the baby looks great. I was so happy. As long as Grace stays under the 90th percentile, she said she will deliver at 39 weeks.
And Grace has been active--I love feeling her move. I love the reassurance.
It's a good day :-)
