venting......

Was concerned about my middle guy, J, as he reported that he gave his two week notice at the restaurant he works for because he couldn't stand the owner and how he treats the crew - but the drama is over for now. This was the second confrontation J had with the owner.  The last one J said he basically told him off and said that the rest of the bunch were getting ready to walk.  The was about a month ago and things seemed to improve.  J received a raise and was also asked to help open up and train a crew at the new restaurant the owner will be opening up soon.  J is pretty bold but it worked.  Well, as you know, it got worse again.  He texted my husband asking for help in finding another restaurant job because my husband's employee has lots of restaurant connections.  That was yesterday.  Today our youngest calls and asks why J texted him a good-bye. This is the son who ended up in the hospital twice for depression.  So my husband calls J to see what was up and J says that it looks like he's staying on the job after all.  He and his co-workers will be having a pow-wow meeting with the owner to work things out.  All i can say is - I am glad I'm not in the drama.  I said to my husband that I'm glad I don't have deal with all like I once did.  I told my husband that at least he has the tools to deal with this kinda of drama.  I didn't have it and it was a lot worse.

It\'s so hard when there\'s so much drama in the work place. It\'s probably a good thing that he is not alone in this and his co-workers are working together to see if they can work things out.
