Too much....
I have a lot on my plate and I know I need to take a deep breath and say some prayers. We can't get a hold of T-Man. Husband tried all week - calls and texting. He checked on-line and he was making and taking calls but never answered them. Come Friday - he saw that there was no more communication to any of his friends and today is Tuesday. Our calls go right to voicemail. Hubby didn't sleep all night with worry. Been there - done that and realized that not only doesn't it help - we tend to come up with a host of "what ifs" that don't happen and now I'm going to play the "wait and see" attitude my husband usually does. That said - I am calling the school for them to check up on him. He might not even be going to class.
Our other son seems to think the family van belongs to him and he's out all night with it. Feel torn - he goes and does things that are good for him but then I know he goes and drinks - which is why he doesn't come home. I don't want him drinking and driving but I also don't want him hanging around the house with nothing to do - if we take the van away (except for work).
In the meantime - got my 1st presentation under my belt and now I have 2 more and was asked to give a lead in front of a town hall gathering. This is freaking me out because I never gave my story before - I only have 15 minutes - and I am surprised how hard it is to write it and keep it simple. They expect me to talk without reading my story. I can't do that. I know how I am and my mind will go blank.

I\'m so sorry about T-Man. You and your husband must be frantic.
I think you know the saga of our family\'s cell phones. My daughter dropped hers down a sewer drain one night. Trevor lost his (twice), had it stolen, and dropped it in the swimming pool. There\'s also the occasional time when they lose a charger and the phone goes dark for a few days. I pray there\'s an innocent explanation like this.
Is he on Facebook? That seems to be the way that kids communicate when their phone is not available. The couple of times I haven\'t been able to get hold of my son, I checked with my daughter, who is his Facebook friend. She was able to contact him and to read his status updates about where he was and who he was with.
I used to be totally freaked out about speaking in public. It does get easier. Mainly I was scared of appearing nervous. Speak from the heart. You have a story to tell that will get people\'s attention and empathy. They will understand.
15 minutes will go in the blink of an eye. Hardly time to get warmed up! But getting ready is a good chance to check in with your feelings--than-and-now.
You and your spouse sound like me and mine--only one can worry about the kids at a time; the other keeps it together.
