tomorrow
Tomorrow I meet with our county's drug task force "agent in charge" to talk about his role in the program. I think he might know about T. Aside from that - even though this guy has quite a sense of humor and wants to help with our program - I am a bit uncomfortable meeting with him. The reason? Meeting with any law enforcement person just brings back memories because of the stress and all the emotions that came with T's "stuff".
In addition, last time we did the parent drug program T was sober and we could share that in the presentation with the parents. I'm now stuck on how to address this. We don't mention our son's name or share our personal story - and there are obviously people around (juvenile detective that dealt with T) that know about T's past (and may know about the latest arrest) but.... I need to work on a way to address this.
