wondering

I hope the counselor will be able to help me tomorrow.  My husband can't make it - which is fine.  I need to talk to this guy without him.  
Although things seem fine in our household - I know that our son is using.  As good as our son has been and as peaceful as it's been here - why do I want to rock the boat?
I'm not and don't want to at all, but I know that he's an addict and from what I've been told by various professionals - especially since he's still young - we need to intercede.  Not sure how.  And can't do it without my husband's support.  
The counselor needs to tell my husband that we have to do something but the counselor has been pretty laid back about this.  He seems to know a lot about addiction - he has a son and claims on his on-line profile that he can counsel addiction issues but I don't think he has the credentials.  
I will give this one more try with this guy.  I almost cancelled but it was too late.  
*While at my soccer game (actually after) my sister called.  She told me that our mom is in the hospital.  She passed out and hit her head.  Numerous tests - but nothing yet.  She is spending the night.
