frustrated
Okay - I was moving along making changes and additions to my powerpoint and my husband had to make a comment about it that sent me in a new direction and now I'm not so sure if this was the way to go. The program, I felt, was going to be more about the parenting aspect, about the disease, about how to respond to it, etc. The drugs were an after-thought (at the end of the presentation with little detail) but now, as per my husband's suggestion, I have it in the beginning of it. Truthfully, it was nagging me that the drug information wasn't where it should be so I was feeling better about it. Now I am not so sure. I think most of the info. could be in hand-outs so that I can focus on what info. parents don't normally receive. So I wake up this morning at a loss. The drug info. I'm providing is important but now, I believe, they may tune out the most important info. because they may be burned out. It took a long time to change it (because I expanded on it - adding more pix and info.) and now I am thinking of moving it back to where it was. My oldest is only home for a few days and he was going to help me add the "bells and whistles" - wish I were finished with it because he's here and ready to help. Frustrating.
