happy

Maybe it's the weather or the season but I'm feeling so much better, mentally.  I had no idea (which sounds strange) how down I was until this last week or so.  I couldn't do much of anything and no desire to do so.  Whatever the reason(s) I am not going to dwell on it.  I'm just glad I'm out of the funk.   Started teaching this week to 4 & 5 years old and I just love it.  Okay - I know what part of the reason why my mood has improved but not all of it.  Anyway - having fun and enjoying creating their art projects and seeing the finished products go home with them.  The children are sooo adorable!  How can one be in a bad mood around them.  The sound of their laughter is music to my ears! T-Man didn't finish up the school year like we had hoped.  Frustrating that he failed another class - one in which his teacher said he was one of the most talented students he ever had.  T just didn't care.  All I can say is when he's ready (matures) he will "get it".  Right now I'm counting my blessings and enjoying him.  I am in awe of him because he has remained sober.  I've been trying to think how I can help with the golf outing for the group who is raising funds for families of adolescents who need treatment for chemical dependency.  A light bulb went on sitting next to my friend at my soccer game.  He is in recovery (a former emergency room doctor) and has lots of dr friends in recovery as well.  So - now I have some possible interested people that could really help out - with their connections, too.
