YES...

Had a great weekend all the way around.  Just got back from our last outdoor game.  It was an unscheduled game - a pick up.  It was so exhilarating and fun.  Great group of people.  Lots of laughs.  We come home to an empty house (6PM) only to have T soon follow.  He was asking for dinner.  He is doing well.... and why am I surprised?  All I know is ....it's great to see him "normal".   Note:  It is the nature of the beast, I guess, with this addiction "thing".  There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the changes in behavior or usage - events go up and down like a roller coaster.  Although I don't belileve he's using - his behaviors have not entirely caught up with him, yet.  All I can say is we are seeing a marked improvement and for that....we are grateful.    Today (Monday) I should hear either from the treatment center and/or his caseworker about the assessment.  Although it is court ordered, I am hoping we can cancel it, for it would be a waste of time for both parties.  ** Just found out that it will not be cancelled because it's court ordered.  Managed to schedule the appointment after school, thank goodness.  T would be upset if he had to miss any more school.  I still am not seeing him do any homework but it is in the beginning of the quarter so maybe he's telling the truth.  Who knows?  It isn't my problem anymore.
