Wow - what a storm we had!  Here it's March and who would have thought we would get a foot and half of snow!  It's more snow in one storm that we had all winter!  Since our winter was so mild, I commented a few weeks ago that we will probably get some kind of storm to make up for it....little did I know! Well.....this week is going to be and emotional one.  There are two meetings at two high schools about the big drug problem both schools in neighboring communities are facing.  Our school has been so quiet about it compared to the other school - and finally our school is stepping up to plate and addressing the issue - all because of the phone call I made.  I am so glad I did make that call because the detective told me that they knew about my son being involved.  If I hadn't called, my son would have been searched and possibly arrested.  He has enough arrests - we didn't need another one.  Then Wednesday, I hope to attend the family support group and following that we're going to have our Bible study group here at our home.  Thursday then is the biggest day......court date.  And this will be the day they release our son from house arrest!  Yikes!  He gets his wings.  I am a bit nervous about this.  I'm not as worried about him using again as much as the conflicts we are going to have with his new found freedom.  The using part doesn't concern me as much because I know he will be drug tested regularly.  It's girlfriend thing, too.  These two are going to have more freedom than they had in a long time.  I need to put a call into her mother.
