I think T is actually getting something from going to AA four times a week.  Because things are going so well (yes, I am enjoying them) that I still feel I have to look up his IM messages just to be sure.   He told his friend that home detention isn't so bad.  He also told another friend that he is learning a lot by going to AA.  I understand that this is an artificial environment but it's a start.  He's so normal now, telling his friends he had to go because he had to go clean his room!   I can't believe that one!  And he did clean it some.......   Hubby's birthday is tomorrow so he and I went out to dinner to celebrate a day early while T was at his AA meeting.  We don't like to leave him so that was a perfect time.  We had fun......
