Thank God for Al anon. I am now attending two groups a week. Little by little I am starting to understand and see what I must do to keep myself grounded. Right now I am struggling a bit because my son may be doing much better, as far as usage, but I know he's still having a difficult time fighting this monkey on his back. It is evident in school. I was told he isn't engaging and getting his work finished. I have to remember that I am powerless against this addiction and I must realize I cannot fix his school problem. No one can unless he asks for help. He has support be he must be open to receive it. Oh......on another note. A week ago Friday night when I played soccer, I found myself (playing defense) smack between a line drive shot and the goal. Needless to say, I got the wind knocked out of me! Here it's been a week........and I still have the ball mark (hexagon shape) on my stomach! I guess I got it pretty good! Tonight.....perhaps I might not play defense!
