Just came back from al anon.  As tired as I was (meeting starts at 8:30) I forced myself to go and I'm glad I did.  The topic:  Love.  Very appropriate this Valentine's Day.  Tonight there were two speakers, one spoke about detachment with love and the other tough love.  The one woman who talked about tough love started in the program when her addicted son was 16.  It was as if she was talking to me..........  Very timely.   I need to hook up with her.  I didn't get a chance to talk to her later because a few people came up to me and didn't give me the chance.  I do want to talk to her.  I need a grounded person whose been there with a young son.
