Temperature outside is about 4 degrees.  School was canceled.  T has his first AA meeting tonight.  He's been doing very well.  I cannot believe the turn around....  I never would have guessed it was possible without him doing rehab.  I know he still needs it, however, because he IS in an isolated, artificial environment but I still didn't think he could possibly do it here.  He still goes to school and is still allowed to have friends over but it's been his choice not to.  A very good thing.  Just waiting now to hear from the detention center officer.  She is not easy to get a hold of.  He's supposed to go to an AA meeting tonight but we are to give them 24 hours notice.  She never returned my call over the weekend and I was told to call this A.M.  I hope she calls soon before she takes off somewhere.......
