It's Friday and things, finally, have settled down.  T went off to school so easily this morning.  In fact, he was waiting for me!  I also talked to him about getting caught up in his English.  He has two overdue papers and 2 others due today.  All week he's had excuses for not doing them.  Mind you, he had a lot on his mind and coming off the drugs hasn't been easy but.... don't even know what to say about that.  I did suggest he tell his teacher that he's had a hard week and will see her later today for help.  He claims he doesn't know how to do the work, which is quite possible considering he's hasn't been in class and even when he was - he wasn't.  I also told him if he doesn't follow through with his work, no girlfriend this weekend.  I have to follow through on it ...but since my husband feels differently......I just don't know.  I am just hoping T follows through.  It would just make everything easier.  I did go to al anon last night and I'm glad I did.  It helps.  I will admit.....I am a work in progress (like we all are to some degree) but I just have to keep hearing the messages to stay the course.  I want what the seasoned members have.  They are proof that it works, so I will keep at.
