This one is short. Tonight (well technically last night) T-Man was put into the detention center. He had a fit and threw things around, causing us to call the police. He wanted to have his friends over and told him no. No school, no friends. He had a fit and started throwing things, screaming and swearing. We called police to settle him down. They asked us if we felt threatened, bodily. We told them no but we were stil unsure about whether he would start throwing and damaging things. He was a bit out of control, to say the least. They decided he needed to go the the detention center. Our hearts are breaking. He did leave a suicide note on his My Space so the only thing they would do was put him on suicide watch for 3 days while down there. I guess he's supposed to be evaluated tomorrow. I'm exhausted. We do have to go downtown in the AM for in-take.......

Hopefully this is the safest place for him right now! Maybe this will be another experience that helps to motivate him to seek treatment. I trust that the evaluation will enable you to get support for him sooner! I am thinking of you and your family during this stressful time!!! Take Care!!
PS Could his behavior be related to withdrawal of some type?
Ectasy has meth in it. like I told you he is a carbon copy of my son.
Good Luck
oh honey, I am soooo sorry you are having to go through all this....maybe this is a blessing in disguise to use a hackneyed expression - and that yes, as penpal says, an evaluation will get you all support sooner..hugs and love Cathrynn XX
This is how they act when they\'re needing a fix. I\'m glad he\'s somewhere that he can be watched & if he\'s going to go through detox - trust me, better THERE than at home. It\'s too hard to deal with. Will keep him in prayer......
