Not a good evening.  T blamed me for his friends not wanting to come over.  He hates the fact that they have to stay in the family room and can't go down into the basement.  Does he hate it when I feed them?  Do they?  I know he's 16 and sees it like a immature, drug addicted boy would but it stil hurts.  It was suggested by a counselor that when he behaves like that just imagine the word "sick" written across his forehead.  It does help. One friend did come over earlier.  Ya know when they say "You can't always judge a book by its cover?" well she is one such person.  She looks so "clean cut" (for lack of a better word) and she is so friendly and "sweet"....well.......she isn't as sweet as she appears.  She was the only one that showed up at the house and even then it was for a brief time.  Anyway, it looked like she did give him something (according to his IM) but I can't be certain.  I am certain, however, that they were planning on having her stop by tomorrow morning to give him something then.  If she does stop by........ i don't to think about it.  She doesn't even go to his school or live in our town.  I am going to make a phone call to the school she attends.  I know the drug counselor there. * She told my son that there was probably one day she went to school sober and that was an awful day.

oh sweetie, this just is so hard for you. Not like a usual 16 year old which is worrying enough, but one with a problem - and problems with peer group and girlfriends is so difficult, isnt it, as in a way, they are his \'family\' now, as with all 16 year olds - their family is their peer group and they dont want to know their mum & dad....*sigh*......just emailed by 16 year old granddaughter who is rather separating herself from her family right now - she wont email her younger cousins as she think she is above them, but does endow me with emails every now & then...lol..............take care....love Cathrynn X
