T refused to call his court appointed lawyer.  He told me he would call him if I let him use the computer.  The deal is if he comes home after curfew ....no computer.  I told him he needs to call us peridically so that we know where he is.  Well, for the first time in a long time - he called.......an hour and a half AFTER curfew!  He thought because he called that the curfew violation was going to be ignored.  Anyway, he thinks he's getting back at me by not calling his lawyer.  I told him it isn't my fate on the line.  Doesn't matter what I say anyway.   He doesn't know it, but I called his lawyer because what is decided on the bench also affects me and my husband so I needed to touch base with him.  His lawyer asked me why T doesn't call him and I simply told him that T is very immature.  He told me that that makes sense why he hasn't gotten in touch with him.  I told the lawyer that T is still hoping for drug court but he doesn't know if anything like that would be imposed, yet, since it still is just another pretrial.  If anything, he said my son will, at least, be assigned and probation officer.  I want drug court.  We've waited way  too long!  My son's friend has only a prang call charge and even he has a probation officer!  That isn't right.  My son's record is a mile long with some felonies and still .....nothing.  Fortunately, he hasn't had any added offenses added in a long time.  That's a good thing.
