My husband and I tried to talk to our son about his upcoming court date.  We suggested that he call his lawyer to get some information but he refuses....telling us that he will only talk to a hired lawyer not a court appointed.  He is SOOO immature!  We suggested that he talk to the lawyer and inquire about going to drug court instead.  He said he wont' do anything unless we hire someone.  When I told him that we tried that route and when it looked like he wasn't going to cooperate with what the lawyer suggested, we decided not to hire one anyway.  One lawyer said we'd be wasting our money.  Can't get it through to him that it's in his best interest to do what he's supposed to do and call his lawyer because he makes noises while we're trying to talk to him.  He's 16 going on 5.  Poor guy is going to be in for a rude awakening at some point.  I am just not sure when.......  I'm tired but we have our soccer game tonight.  Last night the second game was 11:30 PM.
