Why does this whole process have to be so hard?  Obviously, we have the drug problem....health, safety, worry, law and school problems, and now financial.   Learned earlier that insurance might cover 30 days (I say MIGHT because the insurance company is very picky) and then there is the extra 15+ days that are not covered.  At $280 a day it adds up rather quickly  - over $4000.00 and then there are court costs over $1000.00.  With one in college and the other going back...... yikes.  My in-laws offered to help. They said we could dip into our inheritance early if we need to so we can send him to the one year facility but....  I don't know.......  Guess I should just let play out a bit.
