T seems to be doing better lately.  It's been rather calm around here.  I don't know if it's because the court date is coming up or what.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We (hubby and I) had a meeting with the assistant principal and guidance counselor.  It went well.  We really couldn't decide anything, however, because we thougth we'd wait until my husband and I visited the treatment center tomorrow and until our son's court hearing next Tuesday.  I am amazed at the compassion and understanding we are receiving from the school.  We were also told by outside sources that the administration is extremely cooperative and helpful.  It is a real comfort.  We have enough worries and stresses to have to worry about feeling like an outcast or the like.   Oh.....and that school we're going to look at.......it won't be free.  In fact, it is going to be very expensive.  We will have to weigh all our options.  Apparently, over 10 years ago our county used to refer kids to this facility, but no more.  All the funds are dried up........  I knew it was too good to be true........

Good to hear that the school personnel understanding! Sorry to hear about the funding situation, perhaps this is in lieu of college funds? If you have a college savings fund can the moneys be applied with out tax penalty to the therapeutic school? Take Care!
