I just screwed up. It's only because my patience is running very thin and I'm anxious about this coming week, as I know he is. But I still shouldn't have lost my patience. T was making all the moves to go to school but I kept asking him when he was going to go since it was noon. I allowed him 15 minutes of computer time as long as he was going to school. Well....he went past the 15 minutes in addition to blaring his rap music, using the computer. Finally I asked him to give me a time he was planning on going so I wouldn't bug him again and then he blew up at me....swearing, calling me names and then announced he wasn't going to go. I then told him I didn't want to have him hanging around the house so he stormed out the door. He said he is now not going to cooperate. And since when has he been doing that? I am so mad at myself for letting him get on my nervous...or should I say ....let him know he was getting on my nerves. I really didn't think he was going to follow through on the school thing anyway....just stalling. No matter.....it still makes me angry and sad that I let him have the excuse that the reason he didn't go was because of me. I never in this whole encounter raised my voice but he certainly did. sigh

Sounds to me like he is making things up and making up excuses on purpose.. WHY?? is the question! You have been so good to him for so loooong.. WHY this sudden change in him? I think it is hard NOT to let it get on your nerves, but I wish you the best in doing so!
Given what you describe over the past couple of days - he has no intention of cooperating -- disappearing until all hours, no calling, probable drug use, no effort to getting to school on time -- same old story. He\'s playing the victim, not accountable for any of the things that are happening --- it\'s your fault. It\'s hard to want to be around someone like that when you constantly have your back against the wall! It\'s a hard place to be right now, you love him but you really don\'t like the behavior. Under the circumstances, he\'s lucky you love him and still have a sense of responsibility for his well being or else he\'d be out on his own. I hope he returns safely. I am thinking of you and hope that something positive comes out fo the court session! Be well, take care!
