Off to soccer in a few minutes. Hubby staying home because T actually came home with his friends! He never does that.....bring his friends home. They are in the basement, however, not directly supervised by us, but my husband asked me "What can they actually be doing down there - where they can't some place else?" Still. Anyway, we ordered them a pizza. I told my husband that there is something not quite right here. Here T is truant from school and has been for weeks (including today) and we are acting as if everything is normal. On the other hand, we are grateful he is here and even brought his friends....like any "normal" kid would. Go figure. Well........more later. Have to get ready for soccer. **We almost went through getting our son into a psych ward. His My Space indicated that he is going to kill himself on the 31st (court date). Our emergency doctor friend thinks we should act on it. Will explain the rest later........

Gosh that last paragraph sounds like an after thought....like....oh..by the way....my son is threatening suicide. I don\'t mean to take this thing lightly but considering how he\'s been lately, I don\'t think the emergency would take us seriously. His demeanor has been good - he called us to ask us if he could have his friends over, plus I\'ve seen other threats in the past on his instant messages that I didn\'t think he was serious about it. We are just going to keep on eye on him. Our friend made calls yesterday to set us up with all the right people in case we wanted to follow through but we just couldn\'t. I understand you must follow through and take any kind of threat with an adolescent seriously, but .....the way he\'s been lately....it just would be very odd. I think \"they\" would have his parents committed for taking him in.
