Well T came home at curfew both last night and tonight....10 PM.  He also said he was going to go to school tomorrow.  He went in late to school today (lunch time) and then I got a call from the assistant principal that T left soon after.  I really like the asst. principal.  He has come a long way since last year (there is story in there but I don't care to go into it) and has been very supportive.  He called me and informed me what T did and then he offered to call T on his cell.  I thanked him but told him that T no longer has the privilege of having a phone.  Sigh.  He did say when he saw T he decided to keep a distance because he didn't want to feel responsible if T acted negatively by the asst. approaching him --giving T an excuse to leave.  I told him that T will find any reason or excuse to get out of school so if it wasn't him .....it would be something else.  Sure enough.....T told me that it was my fault because I set him off earlier.  T stole $ out of my purse and I called him on it and was angry.  I was also angry at myself for leaving my purse out.  I let my guard down....thinking ....he's pleasant, he's ready to go to school, had a full meal in his belly that I prepared for him..... and was careless.  I went downstairs for a brief moment, heard his quick, heavy footsteps and knew immediately that he was at my purse.  Stupid me....stupd me.  I didn't have the money in my wallet but thought it was hidden well enough in my purse that he wouldn't see it....... right.

It must be so discouraging not to be able to trust him....and tiring! I am sorry that your day started out this way. Be careful --!

Hold on to the boy you once knew. He is still in there, burried deep in guilt, dispare, & anger. Our addictions try to keep hold of us by making us feel worthless. The worse we feel the less we have to lose if we turn to the drugs again. Remind him of the good times. Remind yourself. Don\'t beat yourself up about the money. Just let him know you can foregive him because you know who he really is! My heart aches for you both. I pray for his recovery
