Did I mention he broke our land line phone? He was angry because I tried to stop him from using the phone so he threw it across the room and damaged not only that but the recharging unit somehow. I think I've been more than patient but now my patience is wearing extreamely thin. The only answer the lawyer could give me about what may happen at the arraignment hearing is that the judge could possibly order a house arrest for him. House arrest? Who will also be arrested? He needs counseling of some kind. Perhaps rehab. I just don't know anymore. I wish I could find some place for him to go and live for awhile. I can't ask my in-laws nor my parents who both live out of town. That would be asking too much for they are in their 70's.

Maybe with the house arrest, they will have him go to a day treatment center (drugs or psych). Can you ask for this? This would also provide him with a chance to go back on track with school (my understanding that there is an ed eval and they work at a self paced program on-line...). Or, will they send a home bound teacher to work with him (that\'s a twist)?
Ask a friend, all they can say is no. I did it for my friend - had her teen for a week. The psych said they both needed a break. Teen flew to our house, was well behaved, I did not parent -- just a grown up friend.
How about a spare phone in your closet?! Not kidding.....

Maybe the lawyer can help avoid that in house arrest. Like you say, you also would be arrested and given instruction such as don\'t let him go out; keep a eye on him, etc......... Please do not let him near your computer! :o(
