I could just kiss that lawyer! I haven't met him but I think he was heaven sent. The fellow, Larry, the one who works down at juvenile court ....I could kiss him, too. He's the one who referred me to the lawyer! And the fellow who referred me to Larry.....well he's a friend of my husband's and mine. I will give him a big hug! My husband and I will see him at soccer on Sunday and then I can tell him the latest. And do you know what the latest is? WE HAVE A COURT DATE....NANA..NANA NA NA! YES! Well .....it's actually an arraignment hearing. The court hearing will take place who knows when... but at least it's better than what I was told originally. The lawyer actually called me earlier today and saw that we had a date and should be receiving court papers in the mail! And we did today...well...some of them. We're getting there. **Oh....and this lawyer....he's going to be our court appointed lawyer! I am not clear if it's for just the first court appearence or not....afraid to ask........ In the meantime, T came home earlier than our curfew time and was rather pleasant. He was respectful and didn't stay up later either. Well, he must have been a happy drunk because I read on his instant messaging that he was drunk. Thought maybe he was exaggerating or something but I happened to be close enough to him to smell his breath this morning.....alcohol. This son of mine is doing whatever he can get his hands on. My husband......arrggghh! Sometimes! This morning T wanted to take our middle son's bike out of the basement. We put it there because T already "lost" his $600 + bike and left my husband's somewhere. We haven't seen my husband's in about a month. And now T wanted to take another bike! J, our middle son, re- built his bike with his own hands. He took it a part, got new parts for it, put it back together, and painted it. And T wanted to ride it! I put my foot down and told him no way was he going to ride it. I could see that T was working my husband. When my husband started asking him questions....I knew what he was working up to saying it was okay! Finally my husband said no. But he then offered T to our other son's bike! What the heck? My husband is such a pushover! When is he going to get it? Fortunately, T did bring it home but I think T went for a ride to get a fix somewhere. He had already left the house briefly earlier in the morning and came back smelling like booze. Could have been from last night, I suppose...
