I feel so much better today!! What a difference a day makes! I know we have a long road ahead of us but, at least, we are on the right path! Strange, but right now I don't feel the sense of urgency to "get things moving" like I did before the break through we had with T-Man. I still can't believe he admitted to our friend, Dave, about his addiction. Dave told me before, if he could have 5 minutes with T, that he would be able to get him to talk! And he was right! He's known T for years and always had a good relationship with him. Funny, I didn't know it was that close. T is friends with his son but, obviously, considering our son's choice of friends, lately, it is no surprise!Well.......that's about it for now.......have a great day all!

It\'s often easier to confide in a \"stranger\" than in the parents, especially if that \"stranger\" is a good person. If you disappoint the good stranger, then it is a disappointing \"good-bye.\" Disappointing parents is a lot more significant. BTW, despite his recent actions, I do believe he cares what you think....
Glad u were able to see this in your son so soon..Most kids will keep things hidden until its way to late.Let him know ur there for him,try to gain his trust & never give up..Where there\'s breath,there\'s life..Edith
Grown up friends matter! They are not emotional and/or judgmental in the same way that parents are; of course they are vested differently. It was really heart warming to read that the child you know (free of drugs) was present and accountable in a time when it mattered. This seems to affirm that he has the core values that you have instilled, his time with the neighbor sounded \"genuine\". These are the moments we need to hang on to as we struggle to regain our relationships with one another. I am relieved to hear that you feel buoyed!
