This will be a quick one because I'm not feeling well.   Last night we didn't raise very much at the football game for the Suicide Prevention and Education organization that provides education for 50 area schools.  It was a bit disappointment but people have to pay to get into the game and also have cash for food.  It also rained in spurts so that didn't help.  Trying not to "sweat the small stuff", considering what I'm going through with T-Man but it still gets a little under my skin sometimes.  Anyway, I did talk to our family doctor/school board member at the game and he said he's really pushing for a teacher in-service to educate the teachers on mental illnesses.  They say they are "interested" but actions speak better than words.  They aren't making it easy to get something going.  There is supposed to be a teacher in-service in November and he was told that there is a possibility that we might get an hour of their time.  I already have someone who will be able to speak.  In fact, she does this for a living.  I hope everything falls into place.  After the experience we had with some of my 2nd born, I've learned a lot and know that there are some who really need to be educated on this issue.Today is my husband and my anniversary.  I still feel awful......bad, bad sinus headache and I'm just hoping that it goes away soon.  We were invited to have dinner at our friend's house, who is also celebrating their anniversary, too.  Also hope it doesn't' rain because they want to have it outside..... Well.....that's all for now......have a nice day! Oh....by the way.....our school is still ranked # one in fundraising.  Some schools had pretty high goals.  We are going to surpass ours very soon.  Gotta focus on the good stuff to stay afloat I say!
