Received a call from school minutes after I dropped my son off there.  He's not feeling well.  I know he's battling sinus/allergies but....if he didn't do the other crap the problem wouldn't be as bad as it is.  Now I have to stick close to home..... Currently he's riding his bike to help clear his head.  I tried stopping him but these days.....it's not worth it.   I spoke with the vice principal this morning about the conversation I had with him yesterday.  He wants to call a meeting with a select group of parents to discuss rumors that have been going on about our kids being in some sort of "club".  My son's name was brought up.  The VP said no one is in trouble but he wants to nip this in the bud before it turns into anything.  I told him that I've been monitoring my son on the instant messaging and didn't see anything that indicates my son is involved in any kind of club.  I am glad, however, we are having this meeting because I am assuming these parents he's calling have kids who are engaging in the illegal substances, too.  Perhaps the VP has an additional agenda.....which could be helpful!   I've also told him my frustration with the court system and .....of course he knows all about what parents in our town must endure before their child receives help.  Because we live in the suburbs and in a big county....we are the last ones to receive help.  Violent crime with drugs in the city takes precedence over our "pristine" little suburb.  Anyway, the vice principal did say that he would make a call to the parole officer that assigned to the school and see if he can help to get this thing moving..... Never a dull moment!!  I told my girlfriend that if we stopped at our oldest....and only had had him.....how boring our life would be....no drama.  Don't get me wrong...I love my two other boys but I could do without the drama.

Hmmmm, it\'s good that someone has their ear to the ground. I hope his call makes a difference...it was nice to see that someone is being supportive. Drama or is it trauma?! It\'s so hard to stand by and watch our child screw up in spite of your best efforts to act as a guard rail in life....I hope the meetings at school go well. Take Care!

Yeah, ok, that\'s it. This VIP sounds good, but I still suggest that you kindly, politely, patiently, but firmly, keep after him.. VIPs are a unique breed.. I\'m also wondering where you son gets his stuff if not from the \"club...\" You are really great! Those boys are really lucky to have you!
