Waiting.  Always waiting.  Right now I'm waiting for the vice principal to call me back.  I called him first thing this morning but he was busy.   T-Man was still up when we went to bed last night.  Right before we went to bed my husband and I went downstairs to turn off his blaring "music" only to find him shaving off his shoulder length hair turning it into a buzz cut.  Lovely.  My husband told him when he was finished to please go to bed because it was very late.  T-Man told my husband that he had to work out first.   Well, we woke up this morning and he was gone.  His bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke even though his windows were  open and fans were going.  All the lights were left on downstairs and the computer was still on.  His bike is still there, however.  I  was trying to decide whether to call the school or the police.  Decided to call the school to find out whether he showed up or not.  Still waiting....... And yesterday we had the court hearing for our 2nd born...... Now we have to go back.  My son was going to plead guilty but the judge asked if he was sure that was what he wanted to do.  She was kind enough to call us up and explain that if he pleads guilty, we will lose financial school aid for college.  What I am trying to figure out is......he's guilty.  How is a lawyer going to get him off?  And if he doesn't, we will have no financial aid and, in addition, lawyer fees. When is this madness going to end?

And who knows.. if the lawyer does get him off, will he go to college? :o( Anyway,Vice principals are the hardest people to get hold of. It could actually be easier to get hold of the principal, but I suggest the attendance officer. If there is no such person, try the school nurse. If she cannot tell you, she maybe know someone who can.. There is a chance you will have to go there since such info might not be given over the phone.. Good luck!

The behavior by the youngest is just odd!! I hope he is safe. For the older, perhaps the psychiatrist can talk about usage in terms of denial of his illness -- that he hasn\'t fully come to terms with some of the life changes, wants to fit in with peers, etc, a little self medication...???? You and your family are in my thoughts!
