Well......T-Man didn't come home last night. We called the police a half an hour after the city curfew....filing unruly. Needless to say, we had a terrible night. I "slept" on the couch until 5 AM and then finally went to bed ....only to wake at 6:30 AM ....finding him in his bed. We called the police to let them know he was home. They have to come to the house to verify. I hate it when they come to our house....the house with the cops out front all the time. Anyway, the cop told us (which my husband found out about when he reported my son missing) that my son may have another charge.....underage drinking. It was a matter of time. There was a pile of beer cans at the park my son always gets in trouble at ....with my son's cell phone nearby. They didn't press anything immediately probably because the juvenile detective doesn't work weekends. Tomorrow school starts. I can't imagine him in school. I hope he gets up okay and goes.

So do I... Police took my son away in handcuffs, ONCE. Fortunately for us, that was all he needed. It was for failure to pay numerous tickets. In fact, I took his car out of my name, because I lost my license once for the same reason. Anyway, even just that once, I did not like the police out in front of our house. OH, they were there once before, but they were looking for the previous owners of our house. phew!
If there is a next time, I wonder if the cops could give him a Breathalyzer test? One might argue that he was \"passed out\" from alcohol rather than sleeping....) Could/should you do it as a condition for coming in the door? The point being that you would have some indication of how much drinking......Hope he makes it to school and you have a chance to nap.
I had to call the police and report my son as a runaway last night. I know he\'s using again and it kills me. He finally showed up after 2 days sick with strep throat. Its so frustration... hang in there
