I feel a bit better today. I talked to my friend who gave me a name at drug court that can help us. Just as I was talking to her "our" drug counselor called and gave me the phone # that goes with the name of the person my friend gave me. Follow? Anyway, I spoke with that woman and she said she will obtain the juvenile court records and try and arrange it for my son to go drug court instead of juvenile court. That's what I've been pushing for all along. This where I'm told we will get the help we need.T-Man came home past his curfew again last night-- strolling in without a care in the world. My husband gave him a talk --- telling him that this is serious business and for him to choose to not to go to the assessment was a big mistake on his part. T-Man didn't think the assessment was court ordered (which it wasn't) and because of that and the fact he's "mad at us" for calling the police the other night....he "decided" not to go. Husband gave him a reality check and told him no more games. My husband really seemed to get through to him. I hope so.

Hope this person does not go away for a week, now! :o( Perhaps you should \"politely\" grrrr ask what to do if you cannot get in contact with her. Every day, that hole your son is in is getting deeper and deeper! Can\'t they see that! One would think, considering that it is their profession, that they would realize this! Also, if you can, please let that detective know what problems he caused by leaving as he did, with things locked up and not contact. I mean, does he think you son is just going to sit on the couch like a \'good little boy\' for a week while you wait for him to get back! Well.. I\'m glad your you, your husband, and your son that progress is at least moving now!! He is so lucky to have you!!!!
