No assessment.  T-Man refused and took off even though it's court ordered.  Called police and they really can't do anything except when they "find" him all they can do is bring him back to our house.  Oh...how nice.  And they won't "find" him anyway.  Last time I went through this when I filed a missing person and told them where my son would be.....they never got him or never looked.  He was in plain sight.  Many people we know saw him. This kid needs rehad inpatient and I don't even have the help to get him there.  The system sucks..........

I thought when someone does not show for court, they are arrested?

Actually it wasn\'t court... it was an assessment at a treatment center. The assessment takes place on 3 different visits which involves gathering information by interviewing and questionnaires. Technically, this assessment wasn\'t officially court ordered...yet. We were supposed to get the results of the testing this week to get the order but I went ahead and scheduled this to get the ball rolling. My son didn\'t know it wasn\'t officially ordered -- but he knew the court would request it. The detective is not answering his voice mail and it\'s SOOO frustrating because he\'s out of town and when I called the station requesting them to fax my son\'s charges down to another court, the dispatcher informed me that the files are locked up and that the detective is the only one with the key. This insane........ Now we have to wait until he comes back next Monday? This is bull.....
