Got a call from work from my 2nd son telling me that my youngest came home. I had to leave work and call the police to let them know my son is home. They said, by law, they have to come to our house to verify that my son IS home. It didn't sit well with my son ...at first. I explained to him that they are NOT going to arrest him and that they just have to see that he's home. If my son decides to take off again without this verification, then he would be arrested. I think I finally convinced him. The last time I talked to the police I told them that I anticipated problems. I don't feel that way anymore. Didn't sleep very much last night. A parent's imagination can "run away" too, especially when there are other things to worry about. I'm fine now. Thanks everyone for your support.

The saying, \"no rest from the weary\" must come from the parent of a teen! We could rephrase the \"imagination\" to be proactive planning for the potential catastrophes that lie ahead.... I find that this is worse at 2 AM :-) Hope things get back to a dull roar...so that you can get some sleep! I hope all goes well with the police interview and the rest of the day(s). Take Care.
