What a difference less than a day makes.......  I am not saying we are completely out of the woods, but my husband and I noticed a significant difference in our youngest son's attitude.  He's been playing soccer, basketball, and going to the movies the last two days.  Before that he just was "chillin'' and would come home with an attitude.  Maybe it isn't nearly as bad as I was imagining.  He's been so calm and happy........and respectful.  I know we will find out the extent of it soon and then I will know.  He just walked in the door.....on time......and carried on a very nice with my husband and I.......  I do know that whether he is or isn't .....somethings will need to change....

That\'s great! Think positive and things will get better and better and better. I read in one of your other journal entries that at one point you felt you should have complimented your son on something good he did. I would highly recommend complimenting him on the things he is doing right. It will give him confidence and encouragement. (Which is something you\'re good at anyway).
I\'m really happy for you that things are looking up! :-)

Maybe he has.. enjoy it, but also, as you plan, keep a close eye.. His true upbringing may be peeking through.. You and your husband both deserve a lot! At least, that is how I see it. I admire you!

Cherish and acknowledge these moments with him! Change takes time, and is uneven but hopefully safely towards a loving adult relationship. Hang in there!
