Went to a fund raiser auction at a local country club put on by my sons' high school. The group that ran it was YPF - Youth Philanthropy Foundation. The principal of the school runs it and has been in charge of it for years. It's grown and every year the group raises money for different causes and events. We were suprised to see that our 2nd born donated two of his paintings because he never told us. He is not a part of this group but it was nice to see him contribute. The event was mainly a silent auction and one woman was guarding the table my son's paintings were on because she didn't want anyone to over bid her. Too funny.

The administration, as well as some school board members were present at the event and the irony of the whole thing is...the assistant principal went up to my husband and told him that my son gave him two of his paintings the other day. The assist. principal said he's going to hang them in his office. In the fall ....this fellow along with the school adminstration wanted to expel my son! Long story, but it didn't happen but we were NOT happy how the school handled the situation. It's the past.. Obviously, my son moved on.
