March is the least favorite month of mine. At this time of year, living in Ohio, I am ready for spring..... and...now! Today it's very cold, gray, and dreary. I know this weather will change and we will see a few warmer days "soon", it isn't soon enough for me. Guess you can see the weather reflects my mood today.

It's more than the weather, actually, but the nicer weather would help my frame of mind. Even though school conferences went well for my 15 yr. old, he was absent yesterday and today from school. This is typical. His mid-term reports are good, but then he gets sick and his grades slip. He struggles with keeping his papers together, doing or turning in homework. Add his absenses to the mix and here we go again. He also seems to get sick right after we receive a good report. After that he struggles to keep up with the past and current work. It's frustrating.

He decided that he doesn't want to take Concerta anymore, because he didn't like the way it made him feel. He told me that he'd be willing to try something else, but I am not so sure about that. I understand new warning labels are going to be included on ADHD medicine boxes, so I'm not so sure I want him on the medication.

I know how you feel in regards to your son. Been there. Done that. Between school, homework and trying to figure what medication might be right for him, it\'s beyond frustrating! I\'m keeping my fingers crossed for you. By the way, so glad you liked Pursuit of Happyness! Thanks for your nice comment!
