Both boys are missing school, again. Not so worried about my 17 yr. old missing school, but my youngest. He has come so far, his grades were improving, but now with all these absenses, it isn't looking good, at all. His math teacher has the worse attitude of any teacher I've encountered. She has a reputation of not going above and beyond when a student needs help. She, herself, told me that her co-workers don't consider her a team player. They have that right! I consider her very intimating, too. I am not afraid to ask her to do something, but it's the way she responds. What is she doing teaching? Fortunately, most of the teachers are awesome. There has to be a bad apple in there somewhere, I suppose!

They both have a sinus infection, but after taking one of them to the doctor, we were told that it is a viral infection and will have to run it's course. A very long course, if I might add. I have it, also, so I can understand how they are feeling. I, on the other hand, am forcing myself to get up and go to work. The difference is...I slept 12 hours and it did make a difference, even though I still feel icky. Hope I will feel well enough to play two soccer games tonight! After not playing for a couple of weeks, not doing any type of exercise, and not feeling well....this should be very interesting....

The weather has been so warm this time of year (mid 50's)...haven't had snow in months...that we could actually play some soccer outdoors! This time of year it should be below freezing! Funny, I teach preschool, and our topic this week and next is winter. When I teach the spring unit, I'm betting we will be having major snow storms during that time!

I hope that you all feel better really soon. Drink plenty of fluids, you need antibiotics, and some nasal spray, try some of those soother tablets you put in the shower it\'s like a vapor. And maybe some Aleve sius and cold that seem to work for me especially that sinus pain.

OMGosh did you get to play soccer?? And sinus stuff is the worse...and if it\'s viral there isn\'t anything you can do...so sorry!! And what is up with that teacher? Talk to your son about her and see if he\'s comfortable with her...if not see if you can switch him to a different class!! At least the weather is nice...nice day for a long walk...think I might go for one!! Love you!!
