The fund raiser was a success...but I'm not just talking about the money! Yes...we managed to fit over 200 (not including band members) teens into our home over the course of the night. Our oldest ran the whole event. He assigned his friends certain jobs while he sat on a stool in our foyer, (with a Santa hat on, of course)collected money and canned food items, while doing his best to sell all of the t-shirts. He was so cute.

Two amazing parts of this event...One: our house is still in tact, and two, I can't tell you how many kids came up to me to thank us for having this event. It was just incredible...many kids I didn't even know! Not only do we do it for the fund raising part of it, but we do it because they enjoy it so.

Both my husband and I were happy for everyone but just before the event we both got bad headaches. It was a bit uncomfortable during the party (the talking alone was loud) but we managed. I have to day off, so I was able to sleep in. He had to go to work. I hope he's feeling better. I am glad I was able to sleep. I do feel better.
