We are nuts! What is wrong with this picture?

Imagine this: 150 teens in one family's house with a line up of 10 bands scheduled to play.... with Christmas decorations throughout the house, no less! That is what we are having tomorrow evening! **We decided to put up the tree on Friday. Good move.

Anyway, this is an annual event our oldest son started a few years ago. We usually have one in the late spring, too. He belongs to a Christian youth group who sponsors a school in Haiti and he has decided on his own to raise money for it.

This year they ran into a snag, however. His friend ordered 200 t-shirts (designed by my son's friend) costing him $1000.00. My son e-mailed the high school principal asking if they could sell the shirts at school. Against school policy. Son decides to go up to the local shopping center today (with permission) to sell them there. He sold about five of them. The shirts just came in the other day. Good planning. I asked him why they ordered so many and he said the man they ordered them from suggested it. Oh well.

So.......instead of writing in this journal....I'd better start taping and tying down the decorations as well as removing as many breakables as possible! Yikes!!! Wish us luck! Anyone interested in buying a t-shirt? Only ten dollars! lol
