Things are pretty calm around here. This past year has been so emotionally stressful, always waiting for the other shoe to drop, and when things are mellow......I am not sure what to do. Last Saturday night we had another "event". I don't feel like getting into it, but I am hoping it was the last one we are going to have to deal with, EVER!! I don't want to dwell and think about it, but it's still there in my head "a little". It's going away day by day, however. I'm getting tougher from all this "experience". Even monumental happenings don't seem to ruffle my feathers as much as they used to,which is such a good thing.
Oldest son comes home tomorrow from college, I hope! He's having a ball still at college with classes over. Don't have to worry about this guy. He is staying in his dorm. I don't know who's left there, but he was so cute when he announced that he was going to stay there after school is finished and he had to let me know that he went grocery shopping! He has a little frig in his room and had to tell me that he filled it with healthful foods...fruits and carrots. Too funny! I told him that he really is an adult...because he shopped at a grocery store!
Second son's science group didn't make it to the finals but they did get an honorable mention. Not bad since 40 schools were competing! They were very happy with their award. Their entry was the most advanced but, even though it "performed" right before the contest, it failed to do it in front of the judges! Oh well.....at least they were recognized!
