Went to the parent information night on risky behaviors at the high school. The main reason I went was so that I could approach the principal and ask him if he made any progress with the curriculum director about getting specific speaker, I requested, to speak to our school teachers and staff. Either he's been leading me on, or he isn't able to follow through on getting the speaker and doesn't want to tell me no. It's very frustrating. When I asked him what is holding things up and one of the two things (can't remember the other one) is money. I already told him numerous times that money shouldn't be an issue because my husband and I are going to take care of that. No response. I don't know why I am so obsessed with this, but I am. Trying to let it go........but I'm having a hard time with it. I guess one of the reasons is, the last speaker I pestered him with....he FINALLY...responded on and booked him. Problem is....it took 6 months. We don't have the luxury of that time frame. The speaker's assistant said we need to set a date soon, because her schedule is filling up fast..... So frustating.
