Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving brings mixed emotions. There is joy, there is sorrow, and there is concern. There is joy because I have a new friend,,,a 9 1/2 pound keg of dynamite named Kit. But, there is sorrow because this will be the first time in 14 years that Foxy hasn't shared the meal with me. She will always be missed. And there is concern because my older sister, Sara, was taken to the hospital last night in an ambulance. Neither Vickie, my younger sister, nor I have been able to get any information on the cause or her condition. Sara lives in California, while Vickie and I live in Texas. No news may be good news and we hope so. I will spend the day with Kit. Vickie invited me to her house, but I can't go due to health problems. May all of you have the happiest of Thanksgivings and make memories to treasure.
