I'm struggling to get a full night's sleep. I'd be happy with just one a week! Friday night was a total loss. After about an hour of trying, I gave up. There's not a whole lot you can do when you can't sleep. Anything active is out of the question because there's always the hope you'll get sleepy, but if you're active, you might "wake up" and you don't want to lose hope of sleep. T.V. can make you fall asleep sometimes because there's never much good on. Plus, being the "short" night, because I get up at 3AM to grocery shop, there's little leeway for getting a helping sleep. I went shopping a 1, and that made the day so much longer. And your body and mind gets screwed up and you know you'll doze during the day. And, after dozing off for an hour Saturday afternoon, I hit the bed hoping for a nap. I got a 3hour nap which was a surprise since the temperature in the room was 85 degrees! I don't know why I'm not sleeping. Pills prescribed haven't worked and there seems to be many reasons why I'm losing sleep. Worries about money, sleep apnea with a cpap machine that is much too old, improper diet, worries about not having a job and worries about the future each could be a cause or the combination of some of them or all of them could be the cause. I'm tired of feeling tired and yawning at different times of the day. Just one full night's sleep a week is all I'm asking for. I want more, but I'll take what I can get.
