Friends
You never know what friends will do or how much they care. I found out about one this week. As you know, my legs have been giving me h,,l and I haven't been able to take care of my yard. That was the biggest visible symptom of my pain and depression. Well, I went to work depressed, ready to quite and find a less stessfu job. Just couldn't face 8 hours straight. I guess I talk too much about my problems, but a friend at work heard me said she'd get my yard mowed this weekend. I told her I'd take care of it one way or another, but she insisted. I almost cried. Sure enough, she showed up Saturday afternoon with her husband and a friend got the yard done. Her husband even brought his riding mower. The yard looks great and Foxy doesn't have to plow through the high grass and weeds anymore. How can I have any thoughts of giving up when I have friends like that? I am blessed and should have known God wouldn't let me down. He hasn't yet and I don't expect Him to. I know I'm a problem for Him at times, but He hasn't given up on me. Maybe He sees something in me I don't.
