Waiting
I'm sitting here waiting for the phone to ring. Waiting for the call that will say the part for my car is here and I can get it put in. It's the shoulder harness and I need it to get the car inspected. I'm having to take money from my savings account to pay for it. It's amazing how much it costs. But, without it, the car can't pass state inspection. And without the car, I can't start my new job Monday. My former employer is still dragging it's feet on getting my retirement money to me and starting my severance package. Thinking about changing banks. My bank is across the parking lot from where I worked and a good ways away from my house. It was convenient when I was working there, but it, now takes a special trip to deal with them. There are banks half the distance away and near where I shop for groceries. They would be more convenient and take less gas. With the longer distance to drive to work,I need to cut back on my other driving. I've started on the treadmill and doing it slowly so I won't get discouraged. Watching the birds at the feeders is a daily treat. Especially since the Blue Jays and Cardinals have returned. Squirrels are a problem, but I may have solved part of it. The feeder in the tree has had a squirrel deflector above it and it hasn't been working, so since WD-40 is used for about everything, I sprayed it on the defelctor and I only see the little critters on the ground. How about that?! Well, I've got to contact the unemplyment people so I'll stop for now.
