Prep
The preparations for the trip continue. I, now, have 3 timers. Two will turn on lights at random times. The other will turn on the main air conditioner. I need the air conditioner to keep the house a little cool and cool the refrigerator. My clock radio has 2 alarm settings so I'll turn them both on. They'll come on at different times. Stay on an hour and turn off. Hopefully, that will keep any burglar have second thoughts about breaking into the house while I'm gone. I'm going to pick up a squeaky toy for Foxy on my way home. She hasn't had one in a long time and I'll take it with her when I put her in the kennel for the week. Need to see her reaction to it before it goes to the kennel with her. Maybe put some of my after shave on it so she'll have a familiar smell around. Gotta get a big raw hide bone for her too. That's her favorite thing outside of smoked pigs ears. Maybe get her one of those too. She's been in the kennel a few times before when I was in the hospital, but I've never put her in it myself. It's always been Vickie who did it and I was the big hero when I got her out. I figure it's gonna be tough leaving her there. That's the last thing I'll do before I leave for Vickies. A little 2 weeks to go before I get on the plane. Still scared of flying.
